it wouldn’t be called research.

About

I studied physics at MIT and then spent 40 years in Research at Bose Corporation. To me, “research” meant: “understand people’s most important problems and invent solutions that actually reach them”. It also meant “don’t give up”. One result was more than 30 patents, most of which are in current use. But the primary obstacles along this path were not technical; they were personal and psychological. This led me to focus more on mentoring as a way of helping others to grow toward their fullest potential. Retirement has given free rein to my curiosity and this blog enables me to share that new journey with you.
